Baye Art is the brand of a contemporary artist living in Boston, MA. We designed and built her custom website to showcase each unique piece of artwork and offer them for sale online. The site is based on a Wordpress platform. We incorporated some unique features to add interest by including parallax scrolling transitions, an offset artist image in the about the artist section, hover effects with image movement on product images, side angle product views, a uniquely styled contact form, and social media links. WooCommerce is used for user account registration, product descriptions and images, shopping carts, calculating FedEx shipping costs and state sales taxes, credit card payment processing with PayPal, and order confirmations.
